In 2015, WEvolve launched its stop gender violence campaign with the Blue Runway Fashion Show in Mumbai India. The cat walk evening show featured designs by fashion icon, Manish Malhotra, who brought support from some of India’s most prominent personalities from the social, media and entertainment worlds. Hollywood actor Rosario Dawson was the featured guest at the show. The Blue Runway was the first global fashion event to bring attention to gender violence and demonstrated that fashion can be a powerful instrument for awareness raising and action on gender issues.
